- NOTICE OF INTENT : Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 ' Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements'. the U.S Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Federal Investigative Services (FIS) intends to renew a sole source agreement to obtain and renew the government automatic electronic toll collection services with VDOT in Virginia and along with much of the East coast for user of Federal Goverment vehicles. By renewing the E-ZPASS services, federal government users will have a smooth and easy drive on toll roads allowing for investigators access to various location along the East coast to conduct offical government business and compete the process of gathering information for back ground investigations. This service is integal part in supporting the goals of the National Intelligence Directive (NID) with regard to the Personnel Security Investigative mission. OPM deems it approiate to award a fixed -price agreement on other than a full open open competitive basis to Virginia VDOT. Virginia VDOT is available responsible sources and no other will satisfy he needs of the agency. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for the action is 488490 - Other Support Activities for Road Transportation. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSAL, AN INVITITION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION S. FURTHMORE, IT DOES NOT RESPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COST INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COST INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ACCOUNCEMNT. This not a solicitation for offers, but rather a notice of OPM's intent to negotiate a sole source award to Virginia VDOT. This notice is for information only, and may respresent offical notice.
