- Sierra Army Depot, Herlong, California intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, a firm fixed-price contract to LGS Innovations LLC of Mc Leansville, North Carolina. This procurement is for maintenance on the 5ESS telephone switch at Sierra Army Depot. This service will provide software updates and hardware and software support for the proper and effective functioning of the 5ESS phone switch. Due to the proprietary nature of the phone switch, LGS is the only known authorized company to perform work on the 5ESS phone switch. The NAICS for this procurement is 811213 with a size standard of $10 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest, in writing, to Megan Barr by email at megan.m.barr@us.army.mil or by fax at (530) 827-4722. Response to this notice must be received no later than Wednesday January 12, 2011, 3:00 p.m. PST. Sierra Army Depot will not reimburse for any costs connected to supplying a response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
