Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to Repair Floors and Structures in Buildings 76 and 55 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, 1700 E 38th Street, Marion, IN. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition, general construction, electrical, mechanical, concrete work, and the necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Work includes replace 106 lf steel trench with aluminum welded trench and cover in Building 76, replace expansion joints in Bldg 55, replace concrete floor in Building 55, and replace dock leveler. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Applicable NAICS is 236220 and $33.5 million applies. This project is 100% set-aside for a service-disabled veteran owned small business. Completion time is 150 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. Solicitation will be available on or about January 13, 2011, from website http://www.fbo.gov/. Bid opening is scheduled for February 14, 2011. A prebid site visit is scheduled.
