- NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE-SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ATO Information Technology Office, Operations Applications Management Team, AJF-A44, proposes to acquire by single source acquisition, upgrade maintenance and software support for the FLEXX Automated Distribution Systems (ADS). This is a follow-on acquisition supporting the National Aeronautical Charting Office (NACO) Distribution Division.The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a Purchase Order to Databyte Corp, Seattle, Washington. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the proprietary nature of the requirement. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal.
