- PROTOTRAK 1840SX LATHE The U.S. Air Force requires new ProtoTRAK 1840SX Lathe AFIT. The NAICS for this requirement is 333512. The solicitation number is FA8601-11-T-0053. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source only Southwestern Industries, Inc, under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within 5 days of the issuance of this notice shall be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
