- This is updated information concerning this proposal. This proposed procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation will be on or about December 17, 2010, on www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be due on or about January 27, 2011. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. You must be registered with the FBO website to download the solicitation documents. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to this notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website. The work consists of the rehabilitation of the Intake Gantry Crane at the Dardanelle Power plant including increasing the gantry and main hoist rating from 40 to 50 tons and providing temporary intake gate handling facilities while the gantry crane is out of service. Also, the work includes replacement of the gantry drive gear reducers on the Draft Tube Gantry Crane. The work will include structural work, mechanical work, and electrical work that will provide a complete electric system. The location of the work will be at Dardanelle Power House, Yell County, Arkansas. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00.
