- Description
- The US Army Contracting Command proposes to issue a Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract, sole source to Raytheon Company IDS, 401 Jan Davis Drive, Huntsville, AL 35806. This effort is for further Engineering and Manufacturing Development (Design Implementation) for the IAMD Plug and Fight (P&F) A-Kit. This effort entails detail design activities, Component/Platform End Item Engineering Change Proposal and Modification Work Order development, production and delivery of units for test and evaluation, update of existing models and simulations for selected US Army air and missile defense systems, and support to US Government developmental testing. These efforts are to culminate in the successful completion of an IAMD P&F A-Kit Critical Design Review. This is a sole source requirement to Raytheon Company IDS based on authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Raytheon Company IDS is the sole source prime contractor for the weapon and sensor component/platform end item associated with this requirement. As such, this contractor's unique qualifications are essential to meeting the Government's requirements. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the agency to ken.bruton@us.army.mil.
