- FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT:Stanley Chan, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-1862 This is a market survey to locate additional sources for the depot-level repair service for the components of the Lightweight High-Gain X-Band Antenna (LHGXA) and Large Aperture Multi-Band Deployable Antenna (LAMDA). The LHGXA is a X-Band antenna that has a sixteen-foot reflector and serves as a Quick Deployment Satellite antenna for Ground Mobile Forces terminals. The LAMDA is a variant of the LHGXA that provides C, X, and Ku Band communication capabilities. The LHGXA and LAMDA are complex assemblies designed to work with high power radio frequency energy within a tactical environment. Both antennas are built on a trailer configuration, and can be towed by a HMMWV or a five ton truck, or transported by air or rail. The following components of the LHGXA/LAMDA are the candidates for depot-level repair: NSN 5975-01-437-3993, Junction Box (LHGXA); NSN 5985-01-556-3220, Antenna Subassembly (X-Band Feed Assembly); NSN 5985-01-556-7125, Antenna Subassembly (C Band Feed Assembly); NSN 5985-01-556-4216, Antenna Subassembly (Feed Component Assembly X-Band); NSN 5985-01-556-4224, Antenna Subassembly (KU-Band Feed Assembly); NSN 5975-01-556-7324, Junction Box (LAMDA); NSN 5985-01-556-7121, Reflector, Antenna; NSN 5985-01-556-7134, Waveguide Assembly; NSN 5985-01-556-7137, Waveguide Assembly. The current source for depot-level repair of these components is Harris Corporation, CAGE Code 66948. Technical data package such as engineering drawings, acceptance test procedures, and repair documentation, which are all required to establish depot repair capability, are NOT AVAILABLE from the Army. Suppliers capable of providing this service must so indicate in writing to: Commander, U.S. ARMY CECOM LCMC, ATTN: RDER-PRC-MC (Stanley Chan), Building 1202 3W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. Response via electronic media using Microsoft Office 2000 products (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat (Portable Document Format) is acceptable and preferable. The response MUST include documentation such as test results, depot maintenance repair procedures for the mentioned components, and copy of purchasing order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully provide this service. Successful supplier will be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Department of Defense and be delivered on time.
