- The purpose of this modification is to provide additional specifications for the 282 pieces of artwork. 1. If specified piece of artwork is not available, a piece from same genre and artist is acceptable. 2. 1/8th inch non-glare acrylic glazing is acceptable. 3. Double matted framed piece of poster art. Mats are to be off-white and are to be acid free paper mats; crescent Board is acceptable. 4. Each print must be framed to show only the image. Each print must be heat pressed to foam core for stability. The back of each framed piece must be completely sealed with paper backing. Security hardware and installation must be provided. 5. Medium cherry wood frame is preferred. Frame does not have to be made from cherry wood but some type of wood species. Composite wood is not acceptable. Frame size: 1.5" 6. Specified artwork and sizes are identified on the attachments Contract specialist will provide. 7. Installation - Most walls will be 5/8" gypsumboard on 20 ga. studs 16-24" o.c. Wall finish will be both paint and type II wallcovering. There may be some instances where a different wall condition exists (such as block wall), but very few. PLEASE NOTE: Contractor is to purchase, frame, deliver and install the 282 pieces of artwork. Delivery date will be establish at time of award.
