- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR),located in Folsom, CA has a requirement for helicopter flight aerial patrol monitoring services. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The expected performance period is between 03 Jan 2011 thru 22 April, 2011. In accordance with requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(11), a written request for quotation and any documents related to this acquisition will be issued in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 12, and will be available on the internet on or about 17 Dec 2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the request for quotation and amendments (if any). A formal request for quotation is not available at this time. This requirement is set a-side 100% for small business with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 481211 and the size standard is 1500 employees. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractors Registration [(CCR) www.bpn.gov/ccr]. If offerors are not registered and active in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), the representations and certifications in the solicitation must be completed and returned with the proposal. Offerors must be listed on the DOEs Accepted Charter Operator Data List or have been evaluated by Westerns Aviation Manager (AM) within 2 years of contract award date.
