- The 249th Engineer Battalion is a versatile power generation battalion assigned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that provides commercial-level power to military units and federal relief organizations during full-spectrum operations. The U.S. Army Prime Power School trains soldiers to operate and maintain the Army's inventory of medium voltage electrical power generation assets. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure instructional services for Army and Navy personnel attending training at the US Army Prime Power School. These services will support approximately 90 students annually on the Fort Leonard Wood military installation. The services required by this contract consist of instructor services only in the areas of Mathematics, Applied Physical Concepts, Mechanical System Engineering, Electrical System Engineering and updating the Program of Instructions if applicable.
