- This is a Request for Information (RFI) synopsis only. This is NOT a solicitation request for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this survey is to obtain information regarding the future Air Force Medical Service Support Agency (AFMSA) Hospital Aseptic Management Services (HAMS) Requirement. The United States Air Force is conducting market research via the linked Survey that will be used to assess the ability of companies to perform Hospital Aseptic Management Services (HAMS) for the Air Force. The survey is being administered for the USAF by Monterey Consultants, Inc. Monterey is a provider of business consulting services related to the federal government. Data collected from the survey will become the property of the United States Air Force, and will be used to provide a snapshot of how businesses who participated in the survey are capable of performing various areas of HAMS. The data will not be shared with any entity outside of the Air Force. Monterey has signed, Non-Disclosure Agreements in place and is constrained under Organizational Conflict of Interest clauses. Monterey is not engaged in the medical services industry and does not plan on doing business within that area in the foreseeable future. Neither Monterey nor the Air Force claim or suggest that participation in this year's survey will result in consideration/award of a federal contract. Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary and non-participation will not affect the Air Force's consideration of any company for future federal contracts. The survey will close at 3:00 PM, Central Standard Time (CST) on 6 Jan 2011. This survey is internet-based and does not require any special equipment or software beyond a typical web browser-capable computer. The survey should take no longer than approximately 20 - 30 minutes to complete.
