- The Department of Defense Educational Activity (DoDEA) hereby issues an invitation to an Industry Day regarding the anticipated Ordering System for the FY-11 Science Curriculum Buy. This Industry Day will be held at DoDEA, 4040 North Fairfax Ave., Arlington, VA 22203 on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 10 AM to Noon Eastern Standard Time in the 1st Floor Conference Room (Suite 130). The purpose of this Industry Day is to hold an open dialogue with all interested curriculum vendors regarding the employment of a new, vendor driven, commercial practice online ordering system in lieu of the currently used delivery order system to secure the specific curriculum requirements under the projected science requirements contracts. It is anticipated that DoDEA will request in each RFQ the vendor's online order form customized to accommodate the science curriculum requirements for that contract. DoDEA would like to entertain all industry suggestions and ideas that could facilitate the use of a commercial practice ordering system for the DoDEA School System.
