- Description
- The project consist of the purchase, installation, testing, and making completely operational, new vertical turbine sump pump systems and controls to replace the existing equipment in both the plants station drainage sump and the unit unwatering sump. The requirements cover all work necessary for the supply, delivery, and installation of new pumps, motors, shafts, controls, etc for completely operational systems for Jim Woodruff Powerhouse Chattahoochee, FL. The contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of all existing equipment. Each offeror must submit technical data on all proposed equipment to show conformance with the specifications. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. It is anticipated that a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded. The (NAICS) Code 237110 and size standard is $33.5 Mil. The (NAICS) Code of 333911 applies the, size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual number of employees does not exceed 500. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: http:www.fbo.gov. The solicitation is due to be posted on about 10 March 2010. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and supplies must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. It is the offerors responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting to include any changes (amendments to the solicitation).
