- The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), intends to award a sole source contract extension under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) - FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i) - Urgent and Compelling need. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The award will be made to The Davey Tree Expert Company, Kent, OH 44240-5193. The requirement is for a Tree Planting and Transplanting Services for Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). This action will result in a three month period of performance extension to a Firm-Fixed Price contract, commencing on 1 January 2011 through 31 March 2011. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561730 with a size standard of $7 million. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract extension is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Contract Specialist Ms. Haydee L.
