- Contract for management of pool water disinfectant systems for the training pools and MWR recreation pool located at the Naval Station Newport. The Contractor shall maintain and repair the Pool Water Disinfectant Systems and equipment to ensure proper condition and operation. Contractor shall provide Maintenance Inspection and Repair Work. Contractor shall assure that all systems are functioning within manufacturer ™s specifications. The Contractor shall monitor the Chlorine Supply Monthly. The Contractor shall ensure adequate fill levels are maintained to prevent shortages The Contractor shall monitor the CO2 Supply Monthly. The Contractor shall ensure adequate fill levels are maintained to prevent outages. The Contractor shall maintain the UV Disinfectant System. The contractor shall ensure that the UV Disinfectant System is operating to manufacturer ™s specifications. The contractor shall respond to all Emergency and Routine Service Calls. The department of the navy intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for this project. The solicitation and award shall be made utilizing FAR part 13.5 “ Test Program for Certain Commercial items. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), all solicitation documents will be limited to electronic medium using Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format. Solicitation package will be made available after 21 December 2010 on the navy Electronic Commerce On-line (NECO web site https://www.neco.navy.mil/.
