- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal Correctional Institution Milan, Michigan, intends to issue an award for RFQP04171100005 Transition Coach. The solicitation is a 100% set-aside FOB Destination. The NAICS code is 624310. Services dates will begin February 01, 2011 and end September 30, 2011. Services will be rendered at the Federal Correctional Institution, 4004 E. Arkona Rd, P.O. Box 9999, Milan, MI 48160. The contract type is a firm fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: past performance, price comparison with other offers, and administrative costs. Price will be rated higher than past performance. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 10, 2010 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The deadline for receipt of quotes is January 6, 2011, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Quotes received after closing date AND TIME will not be considered. Payment will be made using Government Purchase Card. All potential offerors are required to complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), which should be completed at https://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
