- Liquid Alum for Wastewater Treatment Facility This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. This is a request for information. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The purpose of the proposed acquisition is to identify qualified organizations that can provide and deliver to Hurlburt Field, FL approximately 18,000 Gallons of Aluminum Sulfate Solution (Liquid Alum) on an annual basis. Deliverie quantity will be no more than 4,500 Gallons at one time, number of deliveries per year will be between 3 and 5. Delivery must be done with a vehicle that has air or sufficient means to transfer the liquid alum from the vehicle to on-site container. Liquid alum delivered shall have a low Iron content. Bill of laden and certificate of analysis are required at time of delivery. Provider shall deliver the required liquid alum within 10 days of notification. If possible the Air Force intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for one base year plus four option years. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company's capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, past experience, business status (small, large, 8A, veteran owned etc.) Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organizations qualifications to provide the service/product. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Also, if a five year contract is not feasible for your company, please indicate the maximum time your company would be able to contract for this requirement. All capability statements sent in response to this Request for Information notice must be submitted, electronically (via email), to rodolfo.estrada@hurlburt.af.mil. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey.
