- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, Fort Eustis, VA, on behalf of Kenner Army Health Clinic, Fort Lee, Virginia, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Parata Systems, LLC of Durham, NC, to provide continued maintenance service for the AccuMed System. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Contract Specialist, Rita Ware who can be reached at rita.y.ware@amedd.army.mil. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.
