- The purpose of this requirement is to seek a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide complete audio-visual services at a reduced labor rate and parts. Contractor is to provide annual test, maintenance, inspection and service of various elements of the audio-visual equipment at the Potomac Consolidated TRACON, located at 3699 MacIntosh Drive, Warrenton, Virginia This requirement is offered to all quaified, responsive concerns and offers wil be considered using a tiered order of precedence. (1st - 8(a) certified small businesses, 2nd Small Business to include Service Disable and Women Own Businesses and 3rd Large Businesses. Each tier will be evaluated using the procedure outline below: a) A determination of insufficient competition will be made before the next tier is evaluated. b) Directions on tier evaluation are outlined in Section M in addition to evaluation factors for award. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award this contract by February 2011. The period of performance is estimated to begin 1 February 2011 through 30 September 2011. All companies submitting a proposal must be currently registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base at http://www.ccr.gov before an award can be made. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334210, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, the size standard is: $20.5 Million. Offfers are due on January 6, 2011 by 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). Email all offers to charlie.peppers@faa.gov or mail to the appropriate address listed in the solicitation by the due date. Contractors will be required to submit a proposal based on evaluation criterial listed in Section M of the solicitation.
