- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Vacant Quarters Maintenance (VQM) and Barracks Handover (BHO) Occupancy Changeover Cleaning (OCC) services at Fort Bragg, NC. This action will be conducted as a service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12, Commercial Items and Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation will be issued as a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. A Fixed Price (FP) Requirements contract is anticipated. The contract period consists of a 9-month base period with two, 1-year option periods. The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, transportation, supervision, quality control services, and any other items necessary for OCC. The required cleaning services include specific task areas which will be ordered as needed. Task Areas include Floor Maintenance, General Cleaning, and Pressure Washing. Performance locations and required services at those locations will be specified on Task Schedules, on a weekly basis. The Government may request that the Contractor, once notified, be prepared and ready to perform services within 8 hours of notification. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210, "Facilities Support Services." The Government anticipates issuing Request for Quote (RFQ) number W91247-11-T-0005, on or around November 23, 2010. The RFQ and amendments, if applicable will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
