Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) W90QVA-0228-B009 Request For Quotation (RFQ) (iii) This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Also, the full text of a clause may be accessed electronically at this/these address (es): http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFARA.HTM or http://acquisition.gov/far/. See attachment for local USACCE clauses. (iv) Applicable NAICS code to the below line items is 721110. This solicitation is unrestricted. (v) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): 0001: Total package for accommodations, meals, conference rooms, administrative support and equipment for 2011 U.S. Africa Command/Naval War College Alumni Symposium in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Firm Fixed Price. AA: 110 x Classic or Standard Single Rooms for four nights, arriving on 11 April 2011 and departing the morning of 15 April 2011 to include standard breakfast in accordance with the Performance Work Statement Paragraph 2.A(2)(a). AB: One Icebreaker Buffet Social Event on April 11, 2011 with capacity for 125 Attendees in accordance with the Performance Work Statement Paragraph 2.A(2)(g). AC: Buffet Style meal service for three lunches, three mid morning and three afternoon coffee breaks for 125 attendees on the 12-14 the of April in accordance with the Performance Work Statement Paragraph 2.A(2) - Meals. AD: Conference rooms, facilities, and equipment for 125 attendees consisting of four breakout rooms, one Operations center, one Internet access room, and one Distinguished Visitors room in accordance with the Performance Work Statement Paragraph 2.B - Conference Rooms and Breakout Rooms. (vi) Description of requirement: 2011 U.S. Africa Command/Naval War College Alumni Symposium. (vii) Date of Delivery: Period of Performance for all items is 11 April 2011 thru 15 April 2011. Acceptance for all items is to the US Africa Command, Outreach Directorate, Bldg. 3305 Kelley Barracks, 70567 Stuttgart, Germany. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offers may be submitted by email or faxed to the designated point of contact. Please provide technical specifications and commercial literature (brochures) for any equivalent products offered. Vendors must be registered and active in Contractor Central Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov/. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. Award will be made to the responsible vendor with lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) quote that meets the minimum technical requirements listed in the attached Performance Work Statement. Offers that don't meet the minimum technical requirements will be excluded from consideration. Award is on an all or none basis.
