- This is a sources sought notice to determine the availability and capability of potential sources including but not limited to all small business categories (i.e., HUBZone firms; certified 8(a), Small Disadvantaged, veteran and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; and women-owned small businesses). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to these services is 812332, Industrial Launderers and the associated size standard is $35.5M. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals or Request for Quotes. This announcement is for market research purposes only and does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation for the services or items contained herein. All responses shall be submitted at the discretion of the respondent. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this sources sought. Any responses received will not be used as a proposal. The 104th Base Environmental Office is seeking vendor who will provide the following service: provide pick-up, cleaning, replenishment and delivery of a quantity of Shop Towels, Absorbent Mats and Absorbent Rubber Backed Pads on a bi-weekly basis. The service locations are for Barnes ANG Base, Westfield, Massachusetts and Milford ANG Station, Milford, Massachusetts. This sources sought is for a firm-fixed price contract for a base and four option years is contemplated. A synopsis of the Statement of Work follows. Applicable Regulations/Laws/Technical Orders: All applicable EPA/OSHA/Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulations must be observed. Shop Towels: Towels shall be provided that are oil, grease, and fuel absorbent. Towels will be made of a cotton base material and be lent free. Service includes delivery of clean towels, pick-up and cleaning of soiled towels. Absorbent Mats: A variety of absorbent mats will be required. Services are required to maintain cleaned mats at all locations. Contractor is required to furnish treated absorbent mats that are flame retardant and non-skid. Service includes delivery, pick-up and cleaning. Rubber-Backed Absorbent Pads: A variety of absorbent pads will be required. Services are required to maintain cleaned pads at all locations. Contractor is required to furnish treated absorbent pads that are flame retardant and non-skid. Service includes delivery, pick-up and cleaning. 1.Responsible parties interested and capable of providing these services must respond by e-mailing edward.chrusciel@ang.af.mil with a full description of your capability to adequately perform these services, including if active member in CCR along with listing your cage code. 2. This notice does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation. No solicitation document is available. Information obtained from this announcement may be used to refine future requirements or develop future acquisition strategies. 3. Capable parties must submit their ability to provide these services by December 27th, 2010 at 4:00P.M. ET. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the Governments assessment of the information received.
