- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. NAICS code is 541511. It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) on behalf of the Center for Information Technology (CIT) to acquire follow on professional Information Technology (IT) services from CITCS Inc., Ballwin, MO on a sole source basis. The purpose of this acquisition is to professional IT services to support the Center for Information Technology (CIT) with the functional expansion Altiris by adding packaged software for MacIntosh and Windows clients and possibly some virtualized software utilizing Symantec virtual clients used by Altiris. This will aid CIT in the further automation and distribution of software to end users. Altiris brand software was acquired and initially implemented at NIH. The software was acquired from Immix Technology. Under the delivery order, 3HTechnology provided professional IT services as a subcontractor to Immix Technology in supporting DCS in the implementation of the ACMS. 3HTechnology is no longer in the business of providing these Altiris services, but CITCS, the subcontractor that 3HTechnology used for the onsite work in 2008 can. Therefore, CITCS is familiar with the requirements, technology environment, the implementation of security protocol at NIH/CIT, understands the CIT environment and continued the trend of successfully completing CIT projects that have integrated software architectures. This requirement will be procured as a non-competitive award of a Time-and-Materials order. The purchase order period of performance will begin from the date of award through 12/31/11. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available. All responses received within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by NLM. Information received in a timely manner will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The quoter shall include all information which documents and/or supports the qualification criteria in one clearly marked section of its quotation. VENDORS MUST QUOTE ON ALL PRODUCTS, NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Offeror must complete required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules and regulations applicable to its performance under this order.
