- NSN 4710-00-939-8910 ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR TUBE ASSY END ITEM: H-53 HELICOPTER...... GOVERNMENT FIRST ARTICLE TEST AND CONTRACTOR PRODUCTION LOT TESTING IS REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SQAP00-939-8910 I/A/W QAP 16236 SQAP00-939-8910 REF NO AMEND NR B DTD 01/31/01 TYPE NUMBER Part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part The intent is to award an indefinite quantity type contract for a one year base and four option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Solicitation and NSN will be available for down load on the internet at HTTPS//www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about December 23 2010. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government.. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and DLA MBA Program and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The proposed contract is restricted to domestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. Accordingly, foreign sources, except Canadian sources, are not eligible for award. Destination Information: Various DLA Stocking locations Delivery Schedule : As needed Various Increments Solicited. The estimated annual demand quantity is 323 The estimated annual demand value is $183858.06 The estimated five year value and contract maximum is $919,290.30 Item will be solicited as total small business set aside
