Description: Management Systems Support Division (MSSD), and the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP-M) intend to issue a purchase order for Apex Gamma Server, Client License with installation, consulting software for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and IMF. The Government intends to issue an order in pursuant to the provisions of FAR 13.106-1(brand name) Open Market. This is a sole source, purchase order not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition threshold. This requirement is in accordance to FAR (sub-part) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency needs. Mission is to overhaul and repair surface craft both on site and off site, in a timely manner and on schedule, at the lowest cost, and to the required quality. Part of its mission is to support NAVSEA mandate to perform harbor samples from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Submarine Base, Bangor, Naval Station Everett and Japan Sites. The Apex Gamma Software is Approved by (DADMS). The only approved software for this mission. Canberra Industries, Inc. is the owner and developer of the software and is the only source to provide the modifications to the software. They are the original software manufacturer.
