- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis will be immediately followed by the posting of solicitation W912HZ-11-T-0002. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the procurement is 221320 and the Small Business size standard is $7.0 million. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center Contracting Office, has been tasked to solicit for an Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair Service contract for the sanitary sewer lift stations. A single firm fixed price contract will be awarded with a period of performance of one year and four additional option periods under full and open competition. All interested firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The Government will award resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Experience, past performance and price. Experience and past performance are more important than price. Detailed specifications will be available on FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 07 December 2011.
