- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Contract Action. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), Washington intends to award a sole-source modification to extend four existing contracts for one month (Period of Performance: 01 January 2011 - 31 January 2011) under Contract Number W911S8-10-D-0002, to Crown Corp. dba Arrowhead Realty (Product/Service Code: V231, NAICS Code: 721110), W911S8-10-D-0003,to DMC Management(Product/Service Code: V231, NAICS Code: 721110), W911S8-10-D-0004, to CW Worldwide Meetings, dba Site Solutions (Product/Service Code: V231, NAICS Code: 721110), W911S8-10-D-0005, to Super 8 Motel(Product/Service Code: V231, NAICS Code: 721110) for Off Post Lodging. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c ) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), these services are needed by the agency and are available from these responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency or will result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries should be directed no later than 12:00:00 PM (PST) 13 December 2010, via email, referencing W911S8-10-D-0002, W911S8-10-D-0003, W911S8-10-D-0004, and/or W911S8-10-D-0005, to Glenn E. Slowey, Contract Administrator, glenn.slowey@us.army.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice, whether or not the Government initially determines that, another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the U.S. Army requirement. NOTE: If documents are sent via email, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by calling the Contract Administrator at (253) 967-4902.
