- Description
- This is a sources sought/market research notice conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. Due to reconstruction of Andrews AFB runway, all associated lighting and Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS)Navigational Aids are being upgraded or moved to increase usability of the runway with hardened overrun capability. A study may be required to insure that the new contruction will not cause interference between the Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) and the ATCALS Navigational Aids. In order to be considered a potential source, interested parties must submit at least one (1), but no more than three(3), previously completed works that clearly demonstrates experience studying and/or providing guidance on how to resolve placement and interference issues, to include computer modeling, same or similar to the Government's requirement. No site visit will be conducted as a result of this notice. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this market research, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish the requested information. Information submitted will not be returned. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511with a size standard of 750 employees.
