- Note: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area power Administration, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland CO, 80539-3003. Physical Address for hand carried bids: Western Area power Administration, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland CO, 80538. Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and any other resource necessary to complete this project. The work includes, but is not limited to constructing and completing the Hayden Substation Stage 04 to include: removing existing McGraw-Edison 100 MVA transformer and preparation for transport away from existing slab; relocate onto temporary cribbing and follow manufacturers recommendation for long term storage; demolition and removal of existing slab; construction of permanent slab; relocation, assembly, and filling of new HICO 250 MVA transformer from temporary storage slab to permanent slab. The work is located at the Hayden Substation construction site, which is located near Hayden in Routt County, Colorado. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237130 and the applicable size standard is $33,500,000.00. This procurement will be issued as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. It is anticipated that the solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available for download at http://e-center.doe.gov/ or http://www.fbo.gov (click on the link under Additional Info:) on or about December 22, 2010.
