- Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and AFMAN 64-302, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. This solicitation, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44. This procurement is a 100% Hubzone set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 713940 and the small business size standard is $7M. The following commercial items are requested: Pool/Beach Lifeguard Services for Andersen AFB, Guam. Contractor to provide all products, supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, material, and other items and services necessary to perform lifeguard services at Andersen AFB pool/beach in accordance with the Performance Work Statement of the attached solicitation. Reference attached solicitation document. Submit the price quote information via email to SrA Justin Sink at justin.sink@andersen.af.mil. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail not later than 12 AM Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday 21 December 2010. Oral Quotes will not be accepted. Collect calls will not be accepted. Note: The attached solicitation is a conformed copy incorporating an amendment for an administrative change to separate the services from one line item into two line items for the 2 services (beach and pool). As this solicitation had yet to be posted, only the conformed copy that incorporated the change was posted to avoid confusion. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov to be considered for award. All proposals must be directly submitted by the firm registered in CCR that is intended to be be the successful awardee. Proposal submitted by another firm on behalf of a CCR registered company with the intention of being award "care of" will not be accepted. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance factors to be considered. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs.
