- NAICS Code: 238910 with a size standard for small business of $14 million. This announcement is to direct interested parties to the Department of Interior's (DOI), National Business Center (NBC), Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov where the National Park Service intends to issue a solicitation for proposals from firms having the capability to perform the work described below. The solicitation shall be issued under Request for Quote (RFQ) number#Q5297110015 for a Firm-Fixed Price contract on the above website. The work is at Everglades National Park. The work is for a service to demolish two abandoned single story buildings, removal all associated building materials, remove below ground pipes (located in the fill pad), remove debris (i.e. fences, antennae, cables, asphalt, etc), from a site known as the "Tower Site" in Everglades National Park. The RFQ shall include the Statement of Work, maps, wage rates, and instructions to offerors. The estimated time for completion is 45 days from the date of the award. All work will be performed under a single contract. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and maps provided with the RFQ documents posted on this site. This RFQ will be issued electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 5, 2011. No paper copies will be issued. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI should register at the National Business Center. All documents will be made available in the Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing http://ideasec.nbc.gov site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the National Park Service must be registered at www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 238910 with a size standard of $14M and is set aside for small business. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Only one award shall be made. Any site visit information will be included in the RFQ. The ESTIMATED due date for bids and bid opening is February 16, 2011; however, the actual due date of bids/bid opening may be adjusted based upon actual posting date of the solicitation and the information will be clearly stated within the solicitation documents. The anticipated award date is February 30, 2011 for a single Firm Fixed Price Type contract. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. TELEPHONE OR FAXED INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
