Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to solicit and award a contract to Leadership Development Associates (LDA) of Orange, California on a sole source basis. Under two previous contracts with IRS, awarded as the result of competitive solicitations, LDA provided Executive Readiness training to IRS executives. Included in this training was a course entitled “Leading as a way of Serving,” a video based course which was customized for IRS executives. Executives of the IRS's Wage and Investment Division have determined that this training should be available to all its leaders. The new contract will be awarded to LDA as a follow on to the previous contract. The proposed training program will be developed by revising LDA’s “Leading From the Heart”(c) curriculum to create a “Leading as a Way of Serving” curriculum for all-levels of the Wage & Investment leadership team. In addition to further customization of the curriculum, LDA will also train personnel as facilitators for the revised course. The fact that the course will be developed from training already provided by LDA makes them the logical Vendor for the follow on contract.
