- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisitions Regulation Sub-part 12 and 19. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: Request for Quotes are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) Number NTIA6380-11-RQ-00358. NAICS code is 423430. The government intends on awarding a firm fixed price contract. Description: National Telecommunications and Information Administration, Department of Commerce has a requirement to obtain Software License renewal for Red Hat Operating System for classified and unclassified servers. Renewal start date is two weeks from award. This award will be evaluated on price, and the government reserves the right to award without discussion; therefore each offeror is encouraged to submit their best terms with their quote. Special attention is directed to FAR 52.212-1(b). Failure to submit the required information for evaluation may render the offer non-responsive. Offerors shall include a fully executed copy of the FAR provision at 52.212-3. Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with 55.225-1 Buy American Act, 52.225-13 Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases, 52-232-29 Terms for Financing of Purchase of Commercial Items, 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration.
