- ARNOLD ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT CENTER (AEDC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee, has a requirement to supply finished piece parts for Burst Diaphragms (Columbium Alloy). Delivery shall be FOB Destination to: AEDC White Oak 10905 New Hampshire Ave. Silver Spring MD 20903 The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 20 December 2010. Offerors will be given a minimum of 30 days to respond to the solicitation. The RFO and related documents will only be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP amendments, clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of the contractor (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. RELEASE OF TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE INFORMATION: This procurement includes information that has been designated as "Distribution C" and is only releasable to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors. Furthermore, the drawings for the Burst Diaphragms contain technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act or the Export Administration Act. In order to receive export-controlled technical data, requestors must be certified by the Joint Certification Office (JCO) at the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) and have a legitimate business purpose. The FBO system determines access to the solicitation based on a vendor's Cage Code/MPIN.
