- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for consulting services that will provide advice and guidance to SSA concerning negotiations strategy and implementation issues related to collective bargaining agreements. The contractor will provide consulting services on an as needed basis directly to the Office of Labor-Management and Employee Relations who is responsible for managing SSA's national labor relations program. SSA is contemplating the award of one (1) labor-hour type contract for one year from the date of award with provisions for two one-year option periods. This acquisition is expected to be conducted in accordance with Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation number SSA-RFP-11-1011 is expected for release on or about December 28, 2011. The solicitation will be available for downloading at, https://www.fbo.gov. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation will not be honored. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring this internet site, https://www.fbo.gov, for release of the solicitation, amendments (if any), and all other documents relative to the solicitation. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract.
