- This is a synopsis of a requirement for a Grounds Maintenance Service Contract utilizing a HUBZone competitive set-aside, for Buckley AFB, CO. Solicitation FA2543-11-R-0002, will be issued on or about 6 Dec 10, and there will be a site visit held on 9 Dec 10 at 9:00 am MST. The meeting place will be the lobby of Bldg 1030 at Buckley AFB, CO. 80011. To attend the site visit, request an Entry Authorization form for access onto Buckley AFB, CO. Request this form via email by 6 Dec 10. The site visit is not mandatory. The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required provide Grounds Maintenance IAW the PWS at Buckley AFB. The following is a brief description of the work requirements for this contract: Promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The proposed contract will be a commercial, firm-fixed price contract with Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) 0001 through 0015 base period and 1001 through 1015 for the option period. The magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,500,000.00. The solicitation information will be posted on FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. As a result of the posting, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, Landscape care and maintenance services with a size standard of $7M.
