- Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition. This is a “Notice of Intent” to “Sole Source” a purchase order, reference Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) solicitation/posting number “216502560600”, for commercial items posted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.203(a) and Office of Federal Procurement Policy Memorandum dated 17 APR 2006, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This government requirement, if solicited, would be advertised as an Unrestricted Brand Name Procurement with provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46 dated 29 OCT 2010. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (http://www.ccr.gov/) at time award and throughout performance. FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items) (JUN 2010): (a) Re para (a): NAICS 541511 ; size standard is $25 million. The government intends to award “Sole Source” contract with four one-year options to contractor “Vimsoft” for the following CLIN: CLIN 0001: Vimsoft, VimBiz SUP-12 Monthly, Support & Updates (Vimbiz 12 months Support and Updates Package with monthly billing). Performance Period as follows: Base Period: December 15, 2010 through December 14, 2011 12 months @ $______________ = $______________ Option Year 1: December 15, 2011 through December 14, 2012 12 months @ $______________ = $______________ Option Year 2: December 15, 2012 through December 14, 2013 12 months @ $______________ = $______________ Option Year 3: December 15, 2013 through December 14, 2014 12 months @ $______________ = $______________ Option Year 4: December 15, 2014 through December 14, 2015 12 months @ $______________ = $______________ This “Notice of Intent” is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination by the Government to compete this solicitation will be based upon responses to this notice at the sole discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be submitted within the close of the publication of this notice TO BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM PACIFIC TIME DECEMBER 15, 2010 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
