- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Detention Center (FDC) located in SeaTac, Washington. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal, if exercised. The estimated quantities for the Base Year and all Options are as follows: Inpatient Days, 250 estimated days and Outpatient Visits, 500 estimated visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be available on or about December 21, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is 2:00 P.M. CT February 21, 2011 however, this is a projected estimate and offerors should refer to the solicitation 1449 -Block #08 for the actual date proposals are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 622110. The solicitation is unrestricted for all responsible business concerns. Therefore, interested parties may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and community based organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
