- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa, VISN 23, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Elsevier inc. 3251 RiverPort, IN, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 for Renewal for MDCONSULT Database to provides inforrnation specifically for patient care and research.. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received with 5 calendar days after publication of this synopsis, no later that Noon, Monday November 29, 2010. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Purchasing officer by e-mail (denise.mcdanelPva.gov) or fax to 515-699-5866. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
