- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, installation, testing, fire stopping, disposal, transportation and supervision needed in the installation of all quad jacks in accordance with the statement of work. All quad jacks will conform to the following standardized specifications set by the Providence VAMC Telecommunication Department. Cabling for the new quads must be run from teledata closets and terminated at the patch panel and jack. No splices are permitted. All cable, connectors, jacks, and wall plates shall meet ITA/EIA 568A standards. All cable and cable-related materials furnished by the Contractor shall be new and meet current industry standards. A manufacturer's label or nameplate shall be secured to each major item or equipment or stenciled on cables. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $14.0 million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include technical, price, and past performance/similar experience. The solicitation package will be available on or about November 29, 2010. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for December 16, 2010 at 10:00 am. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
