- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting quotes for undisturbed soil testing. Solicitation number W912ES-11-T-0009 is issued as unrestricted. The work will be done in accordance with the scope of work. To minimize disturbance of samples, the USACE will deliver the samples to the laboratory and the testing must be performed locally at the laboratory the samples are delivered to. The laboratory shall be located within 75 miles of the St. Paul District Office. Item Number 0001 is Consolidated-Undrained Triaxial Compression (Undisturbed, Backpressure Saturated, Pore Pressure Readings) ASTM D4767, 0002 is Unconsolidated-Undrained Triaxial Compression (Undisturbed)-ASTM D2850, 0003 is Consolidation-ASTM D2435, 0004 is Constant Rate of Strain Consolidation Test-ASTM D2435, 0005 is Atterberg Limits (Liquid Limit and Plastic Limit)-ASTM D4318, 0006 is Particle Size Determination (Nested Sieves and Hydrometer)-ASTM D422, 0007 is Specific Gravity-ASTM D854, 0008 is 3-inch or 5-inch Thin Wall Tube Extension and Description. The laboratory must be U.S. Army Corps of Engineers validated at www.wes.army.mil/SL/MTC for the ASTM tests required. Period of Performance is 22 November 2010 through 29 April 2011. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The associated NAICS code is 541380 with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
