- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting quotes for disturbed soil testing. Solicitation number W912ES-11-T-0008 is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. The work will be done in accordance with the scope of work. Item Number 0001 is WATER CONTENT-ASTM D2216, 0002 is ATTERBERG LIMITS (Liquid Limit and Plastic Limit) ASTM-D4318, 0003 is PARTICLE SIZE DETERMINATION, ONLY AMOUNT PASSING THE NO. 200 SIEVE-ASTM D1140, 0004 is PARTICLE SIZE DETERMINATION, NESTED SIEVES-ASTM D422, 0005 is PARTICLE SIZE DETERMINATION, NESTED SIEVES AND HYDROMETER-ASTM D422, 0006 is PICKUP AND RECEIPT OF SAMPLES IN THE FARGO-MOORHEAD METRO AREA. The laboratory must be U.S. Army Corps of Engineers validated at www.wes.army.mil/SL/MTC for the ASTM tests required. Period of Performance is 22 November 2010 through 29 April 2011. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The associated NAICS code is 541380 with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
