- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of four (4) each A36 steel plate, six (6) inches thick, 84-inches Diameter, and four (4) each A36 steel plate, three (3) inches thick, 84-inches Diameter. SEE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT FOR DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS IN FULL TEXT. Note 1: Funding for this requirement is not currently available. This requirement is for process to point of award in accordance with FAR 52.232-18. Interested parties wishing to respond to this requirement must provide pricing good for a calendar period of fourteen (14) days. Note 2: Delivery Requirements: If the awarded contractor is located within ninety (90) miles of U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway, Utah, the Government will utilize its' own vehicles to pickup and transport the steel products back to Dugway Proving Ground. If any other offeror desiring to offer is located outside of this mileage range, the contractor will be required to provide pricing for the steel products as an F.O.B. Destination pricing. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the government's requirements. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).
