- Description
- The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, Oregon, has a requirement for reforestation of bare root stock trees on appxoimately 70 acres of land on the Mainland Unit of the Julia Butler Hansen Refuge in Cathlamet, Washington, 98612-0566. Material requirements as follows: 1) Labor and Materials for planting an estimated amount of 60,000 bare root stock trees on approximately 70 acres of lands; 2) Species of trees will consist of Sitka Spruce, Sitka Willow, Pacific Willow, Black Cottonwood, and Red Alder; 3) Material under this requirement is needed for delivery by no later than March 14, 2011 with acompletion date of April 15, 2011. This will be a "best value" procurement with award based on past performance with similar work over the last three years and price. Evaluations factors as a whole are more important than price; however, between proposals that are evaluated as equal, price to the Government will be a major factor. Multiple awards are an option if the low bidder cannot supply all labor and materials.
