- ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO GEORGE OBIYOR. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-AL-M, George Obiyor, Contract Specialist, or Jennifer Jackson, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-313-8194. No telephone or email requests will be accepted. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, testing equipment and materials to overhaul the Hydraulic Actuator, Input/Output NSN: 1650-01-189-2989, Input P/ Ns: 214-001-347-109, 67A323, Output P/N: 67A323 in support of the OH-58D. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 3 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 25 each, maximum quantity of 102 each that includes 17 each for FMS. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition and the item does not have a Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR). The requirement is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and it is not a commercial item. The only known source of overhaul for the item is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Globe Motors, Inc. This requirement is restricted to Globe Motors, Inc., Cage Code 25140 the only approved source for this item, therefore, FAR Part 12 will not be used. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). This requirement is currently unfunded. Firms that recognize and perform maintenance/overhaul on the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
