- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Issued by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) This is not a solicitation for contract. However, industry and other Government agencies are encouraged to provide any type of information deemed appropriate. Purpose: The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to survey industry in order to collect information and delivery capabilities for large amounts of Quip Laboratory chemicals required by the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds- Edgewood, Maryland 21010. The Contractor shall have the capabilities to deliver large amounts of Quip Laboratory chemicals to include acidulate 150, enviro-kleen 100, anlage QTB, quiptrol 3000, sani-plex 128, 180 degree temp bars, 2as sprayer and hydrofoamer 481 on an as needed basis. Deliveries may be quarterly throughout a 12-month period of performance. Responses: Due to U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) by 8:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time on 24 November 2010. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this RFI. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for future RFPs will not be entertained.
