Solicitation#: ED-FSA-11-Q-0001 8. Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation small business set-aside for commercial software license and maintenance in accordance to FAR 12.603 and guidance in FAR par 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid is soliciting a brand name software solution that functions as a comprehensive enterprise infrastructure solution for user virtualization, application entitlement and resource entitlement. Software solution controls application usage on per device basis. Passive mode enables monitoring, auditing and reporting to detail application access across the user and device base. The following products are solicited under ED-FSA-10-Q-0001 and required to satisfy the Department of Education, Federal Student Aid Citrix Single Sign-On Project: Product Name - AppSense Management Suite Single License - quantity of 1,330 - 1 Year Management Suite SSP Silver Support - quantity of 1,330 - Option Year 1: Management Suite SSP Maintenance Support for 1,330 licenses. - Option Year 2: Management Suite SSP Maintenance Support for 1,330 licenses. Instructions to Offerors Submit, via electronic email by the due date and time shown (no exceptions will be granted), to the parties identified below, a price quote for the license and maintenance including (2) one-year option periods for the maintenance renewal out-years for the Management Suite SSP Silver Support. Quotes shall be valid for 30 calendar days from submission. Price quotes shall be evaluated based on lowest price, technically acceptable to the government.
