- G-Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services - Tampa, Florida - RFQ-TDAT- 041-11 Federal Bureau of Prisons/Contracting Office 20 Hobo Fork Road Natchez, MS 39120 Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services in Tampa, Florida. Services are for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under authority of various United States Statutes. Federal Regulations 18 U.S.C. §3621 (e), The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act (VCCLEA), and 550.56 Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Program (TDAT) mandates the BOP to provide these services. In addition, the BOP provides treatment for mentally ill inmates while they reside in a Residential Reentry Center (RRC) and/or home confinement to ensure a continuity of care. The location where services are to be provided shall be within a five (5) mile radius of the RRC, which is currently located at Goodwill Industries - Hillsborough County RRC, 4102 W Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, Florida, 33614, and accessible to local public transportation (if available). The contractor must maintain a bi-lingual counselor on staff at all times to meet the needs of the inmate population. Performance period under this contract will be for a one (1) year base period estimated to begin on March 01, 2011 with four (4) one (1) year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2016. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively.
