- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (http://fbo.gov/). The PR number is N322090285MP03. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This procurement is a sole source procurement to the OEM Global Maritek Systems, Inc., 5251 NW 33rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. The MSCHQ N10, SMS FIELD DET LITTLE CREEK Requirement is for License renewal and maintenance for seven (07) License Users (01 December 2010 to 30 November 2011) includes the following: 1. Geomedia, Geocable and Geocable Route Planner; 2.ARCS Worldwide Charts; 3. ARCS-4-GIs Viewer (Link to GeoMedia); 4. Cable Route GIs Datasets for NW Europe, Atlantic, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, East Asia and the Pacific; 5. Cable Faults Database. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. FOB Destination NWS Yorktown Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA 23185. The GeoCable Software is the proprietary property of Global Maritek and they are the only known source for the software system. X_ The requested material or service represents the minimum requirements of the government. X_ The material or service must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing. Describe the equipment/function you have now and how the new item/service must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system. Geocables Software is used by the government as the single source for all undersea submarine cables and their locations. X_ These are "direct replacements" parts/components for existing equipment.
